As part of Goulburn Mulwaree Council’s proactive commitment to improving water quality 1.2km of drinking water pipelines in the city will be renewed.
Killard Infrastructure has been engaged to undertake the project, and will design and construct 1.2km of water main infrastructure through conventional trenchless methods of renewal over a 12 week delivery program. The work will be undertaken in Verner Street within the CBD, between Bourke and Auburn Streets.
Jerry Daly, Managing Director of Killard Infrastructure said: “We are delighted to be the successful delivery contractor and construction partner with Goulburn Mulwaree Council for the replacement of water main infrastructure, building sustainable infrastructure for the next generation of Goulburn residents.”
Mayor of Goulburn Mulwaree Council, Bob Kirk, said: “Renewal of our water main infrastructure is an ongoing priority and I am pleased that we are now underway with this significant project in Verner Street within our CBD”..
