Client: NSW Public Works for Dubbo Regional Council
Asset Owners: Dubbo Regional Council
The works involved the renewal of approximately 868 m of water main pipeline and 122 m of sewer pipelines ranging from DN100 PVC to DN150 DICL. The project required two separate water main renewals in the footpath on either side of Whylandra St replacing the existing single main from within the road way. One dedicated main was for businesses and the other for residents.
This project also included the lowering of a sewer gravity main crossing the highway just north of Minore Road. The project was funded by RMS and was completed ahead of major road reconstruction being programmed by the RMS.

Mr. Paul Yeo
Dubbo Regional Councilc
This project demonstrates our ability to successfully deliver water main and sewer renewal projects in regional NSW
Benefit to Council is that the new mains will be outside the road way and the sewer main lowered thereby minimising impacts of future road re-construction on the water and sewer infrastructure
Whylandra St is the main thoroughfare through Dubbo and our ability to build infrastructure in a high density environment with multiple services showcases our experience and expertise
Our efficiency meant a high level of stakeholder engagement and good collaboration with both Council and Public Works to achieve project timelines.
