Project description

The Principal Contractor (Lendlease Building) was engaged by BaptistCare (NSW) to design and construct affordable housing across several sites in NSW under a NSW Government Initiative. Our project scope comprised of the supply, excavation, installation and certification of new infrastructure services between Great North Road and the new building in Kings Rd in Five Dock, within The Inner West Sydney.

This included upgrading:

  • Potable water supply
  • Stormwater drainage
  • High voltage power cables
  • Pavement works

Design and construction costs for the total project was budgeted at $23m

This project demonstrated our ability as a civil construction company to conduct multifaceted infrastructure works in a dense urban environment at night and in part, on a RMS road.

Furthermore, we exhibited our commitment to quality, environment and WHS by meeting the subcontractor trade specific requirements of Lendlease.

The general trade requirements also included the submission of relevant Council Road and Footpath Applications, Work Zone Applications, RMS Applications, ROL permits as well as community liaison, materials handling, noise, dust and traffic control measures.
