Killard Infrastructure maintains an Occupational Health and Safety Management System to AS/NZS 4801:2001 as well as an Environmental Management System to ISO 14001:2015.
Having experience working on several Sydney Water and Ausgrid projects, we are well versed in the specific systems and procedural requirements of each corporation. We take this experience and standards into every job that we do and adhere to our core values of Operational Excellence, World Class Innovation and Ethics all the while maintaining an upbeat work environment.
Each project is kicked off with a safety brief from our WHS Manager and weekly site inspections and WHS Committee meetings ensue. Our safety statistics are documented for each job and recorded.
Killard has now also implemented a carbon footprint measuring system, by monitoring and recording fuel consumption of vehicles and equipment per site. All work on a Killard site adheres to Work cover regulations.
With regular internal and external audits, we are reviewing our systems as we grow. Our capacity to undertake projects is continually evolving as we branch into new and exciting fields whilst bringing world class innovation to the market.
The decision to establish an office and (planned) training facility in Goulburn has allowed us to better service our regional clients and deliver solutions with a priority on quality, WHS and environmental sustainability.
Not only are we enjoying good client relationships, we are also implementing training programs and offering employment opportunities regionally. Financial benefits flow through with preference for local purchasing and sustainable procurement with re-use and recycle of construction material in our areas of operation.
Killard Infrastructure is covered by $50 Million Public Liability insurance.
